Buck Hunters Hunting Club CLUB RULES

As you know there are rules that all good hunters have to abide by. Buck Hunters Hunting Club is as follows:

  1. Courtesy to other hunters.
  2. If you scout an area to hunt and another person has already put their stand there, you must move to another area out of consideration
  3. No cutting of trees, no nails in trees, no spikes in trees and no permanent stands
  4. If there is a disagreement between two hunters, both hunters will meet with Jerry Fox to work the problem out.
  5. If a hunter catches another hunter or their guest disrupting other hunters or damaging property, before calling to report them, please get tag number, or name of the person, or full description of the ATV or vehicle and the color. If not, please do not bother to call.
  6. If a member wishes to bring a guest the cost is $25.00 a day. Limit is two days, for the year. The guest will be issued a two-day guest pass returnable after two days.
  7. Youth hunters will be $25.00 a year (anyone 16 years old or younger) cards will be issued and we must have notification in advance. They must have completed a hunter’s safety course and be accompanied by an adult.
  8. ATV’s are to stay on existing logging roads and ATV trails.
  9. If any one is drinking, smells of alcohol, or is doing drugs on any of our lands, he or she will be dismissed from the club without membership reimbursement. Remember, Drinking and Guns don’t’ Mix: Safety Always.
  10. Please keep our woods free of trash.
  11. All hunters must abide by Tennessee Hunting Regulations.
  12. Hunters are allowed one stand on the farms. After you get your kill you must move on to another piece of property to give other hunters the chance to hunt the farms. No ATV’s allowed on the farms. If caught you will lose your membership.
  13. Hunters are allowed two stands on the hardwood lands. That means no more that 2 stands.
  14. You can have a tower stand as long as it is moveable (on skids).
  15. No stands will be put up on farm lands before August 1st. All stands are to be removed from farmlands after hunting season. If not, they will be removed at hunters cost.
  16. When hunting farms, hunters must use the punchboards. Hunters must put their tack in the board before going to their stands and remove the tack before leaving the farm. If caught not using the punchboard for safety reasons, they will be warned once and escorted off the property, caught twice, they will lose their membership.
  17. You cannot hunt out of another person's stand unless it is written on the stand that it is OK for other people to use the stand.
  18. On the farms, gates will remain shut. If you want to look at food plots you may park and walk to those areas.
  19. When hunter scouts the lease land before or during hunting season, they can flag a tree with their name, date, year and month. Do not flag roads, or do not take flagging tape to stop ATV roads. Once you flag your tree, you install your stand. If you choose to take your stand out, take flagging tape off the tree so as to free the area for other hunters. Tape found on trees with no stand will be removed. Remember, only 2 stands per hunter.
  20. Food plots: Buck Hunters Hunting Club plants food plots the best they can for all the members. If a member chooses to go on his own to plant a food plot that is for all the members. No member has a private food plot.

Breaking any of these rules can result in the member losing their membership, without reimbursement of their membership dues.
